What is volume?
It is the amount of space that an object occupies or the total capacity of psace available. Let us say that a recipe requiers a cup of water and a cup of flour, that means that you would have two ingredients occupying the same amount of space, even if they weight differently and and one is liquid and the other solid.
8 fuid ounces is a cup, ALso a cup = 14.4375 cubic inch.
